The Dress Ethereal Perfection!!!
This unique couture gown is designed by Mira Zwillinger. The soft tulle gown has an illusion buildup, is embellished with laser-cut vine and blossom embroidery. A sprinkling of delicate feathers tops the capped sleeves to add to the beauty of the gown. The boning in the bodice maintains the shape and structure of the corseted look. The blush-colored slip is a nice tone-on-tone element and enhances the flowing element of the skirt.
This dress was perfect for my French courtyard-themed wedding. It was airy and light and cool. (I didn’t want to be too hot for my summer wedding with so many of the festivities being outdoors.) It is as light as a feather and I felt like a fairy princess in this ethereal gown. All my dreams came true on that day in this gown.
Alterations: The dress had very minor alterations in the waistline and hem. We also added soft bra cups which could be removed.
Condition: The gown has been professionally cleaned, preservation stored and all imperfections have been repaired by J. Scheer & Co of New York as of 11/2020. I just removed it for pictures and was distressed about the hem (after paying J. Scheer to heirloom the gown) as it looks a bit raw. Their comment was .. "" we prefer not to cut off any more of the gown than necessary as the purchaser may need the length for hemming.""
The only other flaw is that some of the shoulder feathers may have been broken off but there are still feathers all over the gown, and the little belt has been lost but the dress was preferred without it.
